Design of Thinned Phased Array Antenna with Subarrays

چکیده

In this paper, a 36×36 design of thinned phased array antenna with subarrays is proposed. Binary-genetic learning particle swarm optimization (GLPSO) was used to thinning factor 60 % 65 %, and continuous-GLPSO apply 36 subarray shapes. The RF beam steering range an azimuth/elevation 40°, the sidelobe levels (SLLs) were 26.67 dB 28.43 dB, half-power beamwidths (HPBWs) 4.6° 4.7°. When applied, digital HPBW/2° in direction. SLLs 22.52 22.53 respectively, HPBWs all 3.5°. are simultaneously performed direction by 40°+HPBW/2°, 20.16 21.25 5°.
